I love working with customers to create beautiful pieces from their favorite text! I have translated favorite lyrics, poems, and even wedding vows for clients. The process of translating text into the weaving is something I have created by assigning threads to letters. Each horizontal line of yarn in the weaving is one translated letter- lines are woven consecutively to spell out the chosen text, and thus creates unique patterns based on the chosen words. When the piece is finished, the text is spelled out letter by letter (line of yarn by line of yarn) from the top of the piece to the bottom.

Cotton yarn (UKI mercerized) and variety of synthetic and natural yarns. Material type and color will be chosen by you before work begins.

Dowel options: wood or acrylic (variety of colors)
